ARVE group members present at the Society for American Archaeology’s Annual Meeting

Prof. Jed Kaplan and doctoral student Andrea Kay will be giving presentations at the 82nd Annual Meeting of the Society for American Archaeology

Andrea Kay will be giving a paper called Modeling human-environment interaction in sub-Saharan Africa: archaeological data, ecological questions, in the symposium: Modeling People, Places, and Things: Revisiting Archaeology as Model-Based Science. Prof. Kaplan will talk on modeling global human-environment interactions in preindustrial time in the symposium: LandCover6K: Using Archaeology to Improve Climate Models, and also participate in the lightning round session: Modeling Agro-pastoralism in Eurasia
